Rundil charges three flat hourly rates — CHF 79 for conversational languages, CHF 89 for our Experienced academic tutors, and CHF 99 for the Most Accomplished — all excl. 8.1% MwSt. The rate is the same at home in Zürich or Zug and online anywhere in Switzerland, there is no registration fee and no minimum term, and any session is refundable in full if it falls short.

Experienced tutors at CHF 89/hr cover the full academic curriculum, every level. Choose Most Accomplished at CHF 99/hr for exam-critical work, students with an access arrangement such as extra time, or those needing additional learning support. Conversational language tuition for everyday speaking is a separate CHF 79/hr tier — just ask us on WhatsApp.
A low headline rate is easy to advertise and expensive to actually use. The cheapest marketplace hour hides the cost of finding, vetting and replacing the tutor yourself; the cheapest subscription hides a contract that outlives the reason you signed up. Rundil publishes three flat rates, charges the same whether the tutor is at your table or on a screen, adds nothing on top but 8.1% VAT — and stands behind every hour with a full refund, so the price is never a gamble.

Any session, at any tier, is refundable in full if the student asks — first lesson or last. If a tutor is not the right fit going forward, we reassign at no cost. You are never paying to find out whether it works.

We never promise a named tutor before the assignment is confirmed.
A free trial lesson is a promise that expires exactly when it starts to matter. Families do not need protecting in week one — they need it in the weeks before the exam, when there is no time left to fix a bad assignment. So ours never expires. If a session falls short in week two or week sixty, at any tier, the student asks and it is refunded in full. That is the difference between a price and a gamble.
Whatever the tier, the 1.5-hour structure is the same — find what the last paper actually cost, teach it properly, then put it back under exam conditions before the student leaves. And everything around the session is included in the price, never billed as an extra.
The hour in the room is the product, but it is not all of it. Three things arrive whether you ask for them or not, and none of them is billed as an add-on.

A full refund is available after any session if the student requests it. No conditions, no asterisks, and not limited to the first lesson — every session, at every tier, right through to the exam itself. It applies across Switzerland, Germany and the Netherlands, at CHF 79, 89 or 99. If the tutor is not the right fit going forward, we reassign at no cost and with no friction.
