Most of our tutors have at least a Bachelor’s degree in the subject they teach (or a closely related field). However, we also consider gifted and exceptional undergraduate students who can demonstrate strong subject mastery and excellent communication skills.
Teaching experience, tutoring experience, or educational training is a strong advantage.
Experience is helpful, but not required. You should enjoy teaching, communicate clearly, and have strong subject knowledge. We provide guidance, onboarding support and teaching tools to help you succeed.
You must be legally allowed to work in your country of residence. This is required for all tutors so that you can accept lessons and be paid correctly.
You must be either:
• a Swiss national,
• an EU/EFTA national, or
• the holder of a valid Swiss residence permit that allows employment (permit B, C, L, or G).
You choose your own working hours. We assign you with students based on your availability, subjects and teaching level.
You can teach online, at the student’s home, or both, depending on your preference. Most tutors do a combination.
