1. Introduction

Welcome to Rundil Services. These Terms of Use govern your use of rundil.com and all services provided by Rundil, including Cleaning Services, Tutoring Services, Childcare Services, and Companions Services (collectively, the Services).

By using our website or booking any Services, you accept these Terms in full.

2. Scope of Services

2.1 Cleaning Services (Switzerland only)

Rundil provides weekly, bi-weekly, monthly, and one-off cleaning services for homes, apartments, and offices. Deep cleaning is available at the same hourly rate as one-off cleaning.

Rundil does not offer move-out or end-of-tenancy cleaning.

All cleaners are fully employed, insured, and vetted. Cleaners use the customer’s products and materials. Customers must book online; Rundil staff may not complete a booking on behalf of a customer.

2.2 Tutoring Services (Switzerland, Germany, Netherlands)

Rundil offers one-to-one tutoring at home and online. Coverage includes all subjects and all curricula (IB DP/MYP/CP, IGCSE, GCSE, A-Levels, Swiss Matura, Gymi preparation, Abitur, AP, and more) for school, university, and adult learners.

Geographic coverage:

• Switzerland — at-home and online tutoring
• Germany — at-home and online tutoring
• Netherlands — at-home and online tutoring
• All other countries — online tutoring only, billed at Swiss rates

All tutors are degree-qualified, vetted, and experienced. Assignment typically occurs within 48–72 hours. Faster assignment may be possible but is never guaranteed.

2.3 Childcare Services (Switzerland only)

Rundil provides professional childcare through fully employed, insured, and vetted nannies across all Swiss cantons. The service is English-first and designed for international and expat families.

Coverage includes all cantons. A minimum session of 2 hours applies to all tiers.

Families do not choose the nanny directly — Rundil assigns based on family profile, schedule, and availability. Reassignment is offered at no cost if the nanny is not the right fit.

2.4 Companions Services (Switzerland only)

Rundil Companions provides relationship-based, non-medical companionship and daily-living support (Gesellschafts- und Alltagsbegleitung) for elderly individuals at home across all Swiss cantons.

Services include: daily companionship and conversation, accompanied walks, errand and shopping accompaniment, appointment accompaniment, meal preparation and shared eating, digital and technology support, administrative and paperwork assistance, cognitive stimulation activities (non-therapeutic), and wellbeing check-in calls on non-visit days.

Rundil Companions does not provide nursing care, clinical therapy, or any service within the scope of regulated Spitex care. Medical needs are referred to the family with a recommendation to contact Spitex.

Clients do not choose the companion directly. Rundil assigns based on client profile, language, and availability. A known substitute companion is introduced in advance for planned absences.

3. Booking Process

3.1 Cleaning

Bookings must be made online at: rundil.com/cleaning-booking-form/

Required information: frequency, hours required, number of bedrooms and bathrooms, address, preferred day and time, start date, and any selected extras.

3.2 Tutoring

All other countries: online tutoring only — contact Rundil via info@rundil.com.

3.3 Childcare

Bookings are submitted online at: rundil.com/childcare-booking-form/

Required information: schedule, children’s ages and responsibilities, and address.

3.4 Companions

Enquiries and bookings are submitted via: rundil.com/companions-booking-form/

Required information: details of the individual requiring support, preferred schedule, language requirements, and nature of support needed.

An introductory first visit (30 minutes, no commitment) will be arranged prior to the commencement of any recurring service.

4. Cancellation Policy

4.1 Cleaning

Free cancellation is available until 17:00 the day before the scheduled appointment. Cancellations received after this time may be subject to a cancellation fee.

4.2 Tutoring

Free cancellation is available until 17:00 the day before the scheduled session. Late cancellations may be charged at the full session rate.

4.3 Childcare

Free cancellation is available up to 48 hours before the scheduled session. Cancellations received within 48 hours may be charged at the full session rate.

4.4 Companions

Free cancellation is available up to 48 hours before the scheduled visit. Cancellations received within 48 hours will be charged at the full session fee. Late cancellation fees apply regardless of the reason for cancellation.

5. No Long-Term Commitment

All Rundil services may be paused, adjusted, or cancelled at any time, subject to the cancellation deadlines set out in Section 4. No long-term contracts are required. Notice of one month is recommended for ongoing recurring arrangements, but this is not a contractual obligation.

6. Reassignment Policy

If you are not satisfied with the assigned cleaner, tutor, nanny, or companion, Rundil will reassign an alternative staff member promptly and at no cost. Rundil uses the term reassign to reflect that all staff are directly employed by Rundil and assigned based on suitability and availability.

Minimum booking: 2 hours per session on all tiers. One national rate applies — no cantonal surcharges.

7.5 Companions Services — Switzerland

Minimum booking: 2 hours per visit on all rates. Flat national pricing — no geographic surcharges between Swiss cantons.

8. Billing Plans

The following plans apply to Cleaning, Tutoring, and Childcare. Companions billing is issued monthly based on completed visits.

Service Plan

For weekly or bi-weekly arrangements. Billed monthly in advance. Hours not used within the billing period cannot be carried over to the following month.

Flexi Plan

Billed monthly for hours actually used. A 12% administrative fee applies. Suitable for irregular schedules. Clients are automatically transferred to the Flexi Plan for any month in which they do not maintain a weekly or bi-weekly schedule.

9. What Is Included in Every Booking

9.1 All Services

• Rundil-employed staff member — client / family has zero employer obligations
• Reference checks and structured interview prior to hire
• Reassignment at no cost if the assigned person is not the right fit
• Single monthly invoice from Rundil — no separate payments to staff

9.2 Childcare — Additional Inclusions

• Replacement cover — if assigned nanny is unavailable, Rundil provides a substitute
• English-speaking nanny as standard
• Expert tier: primary school curriculum awareness; MYP familiarity

9.3 Companions — Additional Inclusions

• Dedicated companion per client — same companion every visit, guaranteed
• Known substitute introduced in advance for periods of unavailability
• Language and cultural matching (German, Swiss German, French, English)
• Optional monthly wellbeing summary for adult family members
• Non-medical scope strictly enforced; Spitex referral escalation where medical needs arise
• Criminal record extract: Sonderprivatauszug — verified before first assignment

10. Damage, Incidents & Liability

10.1 Cleaning & Childcare

If a cleaner or nanny accidentally damages an item in the client’s home:

• Coverage: up to CHF 1,000 per household per year
• Excess: CHF 200 per claim
• Damage must be reported to Rundil within 24 hours of the incident

Rundil does not cover damage arising from negligence, pre-existing damage, or preventable incidents.

10.2 Companions

Companions are covered by Rundil’s employer liability insurance, UVG accident cover, and all applicable social security obligations. Clients never bear employer liability. Rundil does not accept liability for any medical outcome or health deterioration — Rundil Companions is a non-medical service. Any observed medical concern must be communicated to the client’s family and, where appropriate, referred to a qualified medical provider.

10.3 Tutoring

Rundil is not liable for examination results, academic outcomes, or grade performance. Tutoring is provided on a best-endeavours basis by qualified and experienced tutors.

11. Non-Poaching Clause

Clients may not engage, hire, or work directly or indirectly with any current or former Rundil cleaner, tutor, nanny, or companion for a period of 12 months following the termination of the relevant service arrangement.

Breach of this clause will result in a non-poaching fee of CHF 3,000, payable immediately upon demand.

12. Payments

Rundil accepts the following payment methods:

• Credit card and debit card
• Bank transfer (available on request)
• PayPal (available on request)

Invoices are due upon receipt unless a separate arrangement has been agreed in writing.

12.1 Late Payments

If an invoice remains unpaid for more than 7 days, a late payment fee of CHF 50 per week will be applied. Rundil reserves the right to suspend the provision of services until the outstanding balance is settled.

12.2 Debt Collection

If an invoice remains unpaid for 4 weeks or more, Rundil may refer the outstanding balance to a debt collection agency. The client will become liable for the overdue invoice amount, all accumulated late fees, and any charges applied by the collection agency.

13. Refund Policy

• Refund requests must be submitted within 3 days of the first service delivery
• Unused prepaid hours are refundable on a pro-rata basis
• Sessions or visits already delivered cannot be refunded
• Bespoke or customised service arrangements are non-refundable

14. Accounts & Website Use

Users are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of their account credentials and for all activity conducted under their account. Rundil must be notified immediately of any suspected unauthorised access.

The following are strictly prohibited:

• Use of the platform for unlawful purposes
• Scraping, data extraction, or automated access without written consent
• Uploading malicious code or content
• Infringement of intellectual property rights

Accounts may be suspended or terminated for breach of these conditions without notice.

15. Privacy & Cookies

Rundil collects only the personal data required to provide the Services. We do not sell personal data to third parties. Cookies are used to support core website functionality and analytics. A full Privacy Policy is published separately on rundil.com.

Clients and users may request access to, or deletion of, their personal data at any time, subject to applicable legal obligations.

16. Third-Party Links

The Rundil website may contain links to third-party websites. Rundil is not responsible for the content, privacy practices, or terms of any linked external site.

17. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted under Swiss law:

• Rundil is not liable for indirect, consequential, or special damages arising from the use of its services
• Maximum liability is limited to the total amount paid by the client in the preceding one-month period
• Nothing in these Terms excludes liability for fraud, wilful misconduct, or personal injury caused by negligence

18. Governing Law & Jurisdiction

These Terms of Use are governed exclusively by Swiss law. The courts of Zug, Switzerland have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising from or in connection with these Terms or the Services provided by Rundil.

19. Amendments

Rundil reserves the right to update or amend these Terms of Use at any time. The most current version will always be published at rundil.com/terms-of-service/. Continued use of the Services following any amendment constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
